Prężność psychiczna i wdzięczność a satysfakcja z życia wśród nauczycieli.
The paper tackles the subject of how life satisfaction among teachers correlates with their resilience, gratitude and as well as sociodemographic variables such as: age, seniority, the type of educational institution and the degree of professional advancement obtained. The study was performed on a group of 107 teachers, using the following research tools: Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS), Resilience Measuring Scale (SPP-25), Gratitude Questionnaire-Six Item Form (GQ-6) as well as a Personal Questionnaire created independently. The results indicate relationships between the studied variables. Positive correlations were found between the overall life satisfaction and resilience as well as the overall life satisfaction and gratitude. The studies show that the level of gratitude significantly predicts teachers' level of life satisfaction. The results also imply that sociodemographic variables are not related to the level of life satisfaction of the surveyed teachers. The research results obtained are important both from the point of view of psychology and educational practice.
