The primary research focus of this thesis is to analyze the relationship between the sense of coherence and life satisfaction among Polish migrants in the United Kingdom during post-Brexit adaptation. To verify the hypothesis that a higher sense of coherence promotes better well-being, quantitative research was conducted using a diagnostic survey method on a sample of 120 respondents, utilizing the Sense of Coherence Questionnaire (SOC-29) and the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS). The main results of the statistical analyses unequivocally confirmed that the sense of coherence is a significant predictor of life satisfaction within the studied group. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that contextual factors play a crucial role, as individuals with an emigration period exceeding ten years and those holding a stable settled status exhibit significantly higher levels of both coherence and overall life satisfaction. The conclusions emphasize the critical role of individual psychological resources and formal-legal conditions in effectively coping with acculturative stress. These findings can serve as a valuable guideline for institutions supporting the adaptation and integration processes of Polish migrants in the changing socio-political reality.
